GriffStar Inaugural Golf Event
We are launching our campaign for GriffStar Inaugural golf event. I say golf event, because it’s much more than a tournament. It’s a diversity initiative to connect corporate representatives, law enforcement, entrepreneurs, church leaders and independent contractors. It is a way to come together and spend the day learning, brain storming, playing the game of golf, showcasing business owners and building strong corporate relationships.
The event is scheduled for Friday, August 4, 2023 at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club in Hampton, GA. The day will be filled with thought provoking conversations centered around gun violence in our communities. Gun violence is an urgent, complex, and multifaceted problem. It requires evidence-based, multifaceted solutions. We will discuss how to reduce the incidence of gun violence, whether by homicide, suicide, or mass shootings in our neighborhoods. There will also be lots of fun on and off the golf course. We will have VIP guests and golfers. You will also have an opportunity to meet and greet Dr. Michael Roberts during his book signing.
